I’m used to fishing yucatan and I’m familiar with fishing falling water,, I’m trying to learn a couple of places closer to home and bonne idee seems to be a good place to start. May try a different section next time, but I got a few spots now that are producing fish there now so I may just stay put and find a few more. I’ve only fish one area so far

The bonne idee is gonna be running over the weirs for sure now, its rained here non stop all night.
This is a pic of about where the water was in August. The water came up to the lower joist on that pier the day I got caught in the thunderstorm, which coincidentally set the fishing on fire. The rain this last week put it lapping over the lower walkway and over the weirs. Thats at least a 4' rise all together. With all the rain happening now its probably a rolling river now.
