I like the Red Tru Turn in size 1, but like PPG said if it ain't broke don't fix it. There is probably a number of pages written on this subject somewhere but I would use whatever you are most confident in. Just my opinion.
I use either a size 1 or 2. Why do you ask? Do you think you're missing fish?

Only need three more years before I can think like a fish.
I've been wareing out the oxbow and made a few trips to Dubison. This makes my 21st trip on my 6 gal fuel tank. I think I loose more fuel to evaporation than I burn the only time I start my 25 hp Yahama is to put the boat on the trailer. You gotta love pulling cranks at both locations I start pulling from the ramp. When the rains start and the river starts to rise I'll come back and visit.
I use a size 1 and sometimes bigger a 1/0 If its working...stay with it. I like big hooks because it get them in the roof of the mouth most of the time instead of the lips ...lose less fish that way.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

If I was spider rigging I wouldn't go smaller than 1. If I was cork fishing I may step back to a 2

I’ve had someone tell me that my hooks are to big and my speed is to fast. I’m catching fish though. I think I need to just stop second guessing myself and do my own thing. Hey Chag. Have you ever tried trolling Saline Lake? I thought I might give it a try in the channel.
