Ever feel like you are forgetting something -- You probably are. When I left the house going to D'Arbonne, I just had that Feeling. The first time I hit the Brake I heard that Clunk you are not supposed to hear, so I pulled over to find I had not Latched the Trailer hitch. Launched the Boat at the spillway again to fish the Boathouses... I forgot to get the Life Preserver out of the Back Seat of the Truck... The Cork sailed under after about 5 minutes, Had a Cat about 15 inches. Working it toward the Boat when Water ran in my SHOE ---- The Boat was full of water and the back was close to going under.... I Broke the line on the Cat, snatched the Anchor up Cranked the motor and took off.... With most of the water out I put the Plug in the hole and went back to the Pier, Tied up and got the Trailer in the water.. A Wildlife Officer pulled up to the Ramp and Parked. I put on the Life Vest then Loaded the Boat back on the Trailer. The Gas Tank had floated out of the Hatch Cover and the Batteries had gone under. I had brought a Towel for wiping my hands and dried the batteries... I hit the trim switch and nothing happened. I thought the Relay had also went under. The motor was kicked up but not real bad so I fished a couple of houses for 2 Cats and 2 Bream. I loaded up and started home and the front end of the Truck started shaking Bad.... I drove home slow pulling over to let Traffic back up on down the Road... When I parked the Trailer I found a big Knot where the Front Tire Separated... It looked like a Pin broke in the Power tilt unit ... The way things are going I will change the Tire tomorrow and pull the actuator on the Trim unit

Good to hear you made it back safe in both modes of transportation. Just a little one way or the other could have been costly.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
I managed to stick a Catfish Fin in the Palm of my Hand and it was not alive... At least it was not deep because I could not find My Hand Sanitizer
Dang man.......you better go to bed early tonight and rest up good for tomorrow
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Still a good day...you caught some fish! I was at work thinking about fish! On a serious note, I’m not sure if I would go to sleep tonight if I was you!

Kind of Reminds me when My Brother Bought a Baby Gator from Gatorland at Kissinnee Florida and sent it to us in the Mail In 1963 -- We put it in a tub in the back yard.. The next Morning it was gone .. Some Poor dog thought a Good drink of water was in that tub --- NO -- the Tooth Monster.... We lived 300 yards from Chenniere Lake in West Monroe --- Guess where he went
Hey, Larry, I'm sorry to hear about all of your bad luck, but I sure am glad you made it home safe and sound. Just a little work to do now to get ready for the next trip!
