Has anyone ever tried trolling with crank baits at night in a full moon?

crankbaits at night. treble hooks arn't very forgiving in the daylight much less in the dark but i don't see why it wouldn't work. you would just have to be real carefull unhooking fish.

I would definitely have a light on board. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried it. I’m itching to.

I night fish sometimes but not trolling crank baits. I anchor down and drop a couple underwater green LED lights down and then fish shiners around the edge of the light ring.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

So you think it better to drop the light in the water instead of hanging one over the water?
