    I might be spending some time in Eunice. Is there somewhere near there crappie is pretty good?

    James there is also a city park and lake on the west side of Eunice on the edge of town. It's a small lake but I've seen pictures of some large bass and crappie taken there. I've been there for other occasions than fishing and it doesn't seem to have much fishing pressure.

    If you're coming later this summer after the rivers go down Henderson might be a good place. Maybe PrefersShiners (Bruce) would be available to show you around.

    Yea, but don't keep the fish . That's where the disasterous train derailed and spilled toxic chemicals into the lake about 15 years ago. It was completely dug out, but...I wouldn't eat anything out of there.

    I would be happy to do that.....might be another 4 weeks B 4 it is even close to being fishable with the water so high.....

    I forgot about that but I do remember it happening. Thanks for the reminder. I never fish that area though.
