Post spawn questions.
So I come in from work in a week and a half from now. I have a few questions that I hope you guys can help me out with. First of all do you guys think that the fish will be completely through spawning? Do you think that there may be a few pockets of remaining spawn fish? Also if the fish are on post spawn where should I start looking for them at? Logic tells me I should start where I was catching them shallow and then move deep. Appreciate any and all feedback.

I agree , you should be able to find a few males still spawning but I have started finding the big females staged in heavy cover headed back to deeper water. 8-10 feet deep in 16 feet of water

I caught several white females on Darbonne this past Friday and most were nearly spawned out. I was fishing the 8-12' flats.

The females are still full of eggs on the Red around Natchitoches. They don't all do it at the exact same time. It is always spread out some, with some places more spread out than others. I've caught them at the end of May before with males having bloody tails and fins and some of the females still full of eggs.
