    Hey thanks vet, I just signed up to site and did not follow through with registration so I guess that’s why it said it was full!

    CajunCricket, welcome to the forum. I just recently saw a post about a large sacalait or bass caught in the city lake. Was that you by any chance. I tried to find the post but don't know where I saw it.

    I just found the post on the Louisiana Sportsman. It was a 8 pound bass by someone named Jacob. I've been to the park a few times but not to fish. We have a yearly spring gathering of the Bayou Gardener members.

    Hey gene post the link if you don’t mind, it sure wasn’t me that caught it. I did fish the ‘city lake’ a few weeks ago to kill some time, only managed 2 fish .

    No I sure don’t, I did hear of a couple close to 7lbs caught and released within the past few weeks.
