Got some heavy rain there this morning. Hope it didn’t drop too much rain. It appears the red river below lock and dam #1 is supposed to crest today. Not sure if it will with the rain, but that would be huge if it does crest.

    It's currently at 49.34'

Larto Lake is at the second highest stage on record since 2004. The lake is expected to rise another one to two feet and crest at 50-51 feet between March 15 and March 20. It appears Sunday's rainfall in the area of 0.50-1.50 inches will have only a minor effect. Water is over Highway 3102 in several places and may be closed later this week. If the level reaches 50 feet, then roads near the Pentecostal church and Uncle Bud's RV Camp will flood. Should Larto reach 51 feet, then numerous camps and homes will flood.
    Cresting 3/15 to 3/20

Wow that doesn't look good. My place is across from where the Black dumps into the Red and this morning the water started flowing from South to North its starting to back flood. I shore hope it crests soooon, I'm on a little bit of a hill and about 3' off the ground.
