Sounds like he was talking to Linda. She changes colors faster than the blink of an eye. She gets me dizzy. I have a couple of stand by's that I use mostly.

With Bass pro close by Momma and I made it last Friday night for the local pro seminar. I'm always looking for some tips.
Steve Danna was the pro. He's from Lake Darbonne. He spoke a lot about fishing that Lake. He did Mentioned fishing south La.
He said don't get stuck on one color jig. I had to smile, thought he was talking to me.![]()

"G" Gone but not forgotten!!
I'm. One of those who rarely changes colors. I'll go months only fishing black and chautreuse then I'll switch to blue and chartreuse for a few months lol Then comes spring and I'll fish a crawfish jig most of the time and of course black and chartreuse the rest. Works for me lol
I pretty much stick with white and chartreuse tube jigs all year round .

I was in Bass Pro last Friday and talked to Danna while picking up a few item (hit BP about 3 times per year). We talked for about an hour. He was very helpful on a few things (confidence in technique, water clarity, finese fishing, etc) but did suggest trying different colors. He made some points i didnt know and did get me to buy Cajun cricket color that I've never tried. Lol
I had to get back to Kenner so I missed the seminar. I hope they schedule more with some local pros. I'm gonna stick with mainly BLK/C, BLU/W and WHT as I continue to learn.
Should've volunteered then!
