I tie a lot of jigs on the thread go to wall mart and get you a couple spools of sowing thread, you will cover it up with the chenille any way works fine. Need to get you some jig head cement & applicator bottle. I personaly don't use a whip, faster with my fingers. When you get started you will love to tie them. Go to u-tube and watch some of those men tie jigs.
