    It's been awhile since I've posted.....haven't fished much, been getting ready for hunting season.....It ain't much, just an excuse to post something and say hello....Beautiful day, glad to feel the thump again...I'll be back after hunting season.....

    I'm jealous you have the hunt time, my dad had just brought me some back strap and some jalapeņo n cheddar sausage.....

    Tal, let me know when you want to go. You can get shiners just before the lake for $1 a dozen! I have never had much luck with shiners but others have. Best time to go is when there is NO wind or very little wind. I'm off every other Friday and just about all weekends.

    To be honest, done more preparation than hunting.....my blind in basin is dry......spot I hunt in Welsh doesn't have ducks yet......second split.
