Daylight till around noon.....main bite was only about 1 hour (for me) around 9 AM.....seems like all they wanted was shiners.....I just happened to have 90.....jig fishermen all around me just watching as I kept pulling them out....12 ft deep....2 poles some...slip cork.....both poles down several times.....then they just quit and it was all over....caught around 40....kept 27....

At the launch packing up to go, I met a super nice guy from Carencro.....talked about 30 minutes....he is the owner of Spanky's Diner in Carencro.....Randy and Tal, thats in your neck of the woods so you may be familiar with Spanky's....
