My motor did the same thing 3 weeks ago at Crooked Creek. It cranked fine to begin with, then when I was ready to leave, it would barely turn over. I had jumper cables just in case I needed to jump start it, however, I was near the launch so I just trolled in with the troll motor. Had the battery tested and it needed replacing. I went to Dubuisson Sunday morning and it worked fine. Unfortunately, I did not get a bite. C'est la vie !
I always keep a pair of pliers on board....cranking battery went dead more than once....just connect to a trolling motor battery...
