20 Watt, I so wanted to make your acquaintance but didn't realize you were there. I guess I didn't read your name tag. On our way home last night my wife mentioned something about the 2 little blond boys having so much fun. We sat there watching them and all the while I never even read there name tags. If I would have then I would have realized that you were there too. As we talked in the car all of a sudden it came to me that the little blond boy was the eye poker. I missed a great opportunity to meet you face to face but after seeing Larry's pictures next year if we're both there I'll know who you are.

It was such a wonder gathering. As usual the food was superb and the deserts were delish. Juicy did a great job with the help of others to pull off a perfect week end. Once more, Thank You Juicy. It was good to see old friends and meet new ones but we sure did miss some of our old buddies. Wish y'all could of all been there.

The give aways were plentiful as the tackle companies and the Duck Commander people were very generous. Linda came home with a Sam Heathon Super Sensitive 10 foot rod and I came home with a very nice hunting knife and sheath with a pocket knife in a separate compartment on the same sheath. Everyone took home a Duck Commander hat that was loaded with baits, there were assortment boxes of baits, and then there was a table full of loose baits that everyone picked through. After all that was done, Juicy made an announcement that there was one more gift to be given. He then dumped 30 signed Duck Commander duck calls on the table and said take one if you want one. Of course I took one, I wanted a uncle Si, but had to settle for Jason. They were very good sounding and easy to blow calls and the kids had a blast blowing them.

It was a pleasant week end even though I didn't fish. God Bless us with some beautiful days and night, and for that we are thankful. I hope everyone enjoyed the gathering as much as we did. Saturday on our way to the park we stopped off to visit some old friends from down the bayou that moved up to Ruston. They had no idea we were coming. When we drove up there were some kids and a couple of adults in the yard. I motioned to one of them to come over. I asked her if this is where our friends lived and she said, oh, you mean PaPa and MaMa. They were really surprise to see us. Our friend wanted to know how we found them. I told her I looked it up on the internet and got the address and a map. I also found out how old they were and who else lived at the address. She was shocked to know that all that was on the web and asked her kids who had put that out there. She had no idea of how much lack of privacy we have now days. Anyway, good night all and I hope everyone had safe travels home.
Blessing,

"gene" and Linda
