You can see the fishfinder is between my legs on that hatch cover. The transducer is inside on the bottom with a dike of duct seal around it. I pour water in the little ponded area created by the duct seal prior to launch. The display unit will unsnap and can be moved to the outboard. One display and 2 transducers serve both boats.
