Closure
Saw this today:
BATON ROUGE, La (LOCAL 33) (FOX 44) - Ascension Parish President Kenny Matassa has ordered the closure of all waterways in Ascension Parish.
The closure is due to high water and debris. It is set to begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday and last until further notice.
Well, there's always the west side!
Tight lines.

I didn't think the parish had that authority and what about a hearing. How does one man get to do that and aren't there any state waters involved. Just sounds dumb. Never heard of anything like that.
