Thread: Weekend visiting the homeland

Although born and raised in houma , my roots and true homeland are in the central to northern part of the state . Since losing my dad three years ago I try to make at least one trip to the big city of Kisatchie where he was born and raised to wonder the creek that runs through our family property that's such a big part of my childhood as well as adult life . Truly a special place that is full of so much history for my family going back many generations
