    Thinking about launching at the St. James Yacht Club soon on Airline Hwy.....anyone know if the water is muddy, high or what the catch has been...

    Water is muddy down towards the diversion . It's muddy all over here by chinquapin . Was thinking about running up the blind towards petite amite and maybe new River in the morning . It's not as muddy up that way . Haven't heard of any catches lately . Good luck !

    Went yesterday ... Muddy ! Turned into petit amite from blind River and it seemed to get worse so turned back and fished some old places here n there . Ended up with 5 keepers . Shad are getting thick !
