This is true! I had a buddy years ago that brought his son fishing and threw the sons line to the outside edge of the light (to keep him from getting tangled up in the adults lines). Well when the son starting bringing in 2 pound and better crappie, they decided the outside of the light was the place to be! They were at Toledo bend. Still one of the best (size wise) catches that I have seen and that was probably 18 years ago.

That sounds like a plan. Make sure you got your mosquito dope . They are not bad after about 9pm. But before that it can be bad. Let us know how you do . We fish indian creek and larto/saline mostly. Hope y'all have fun.
