That's not bad, I break off a good bit when I fish jigs. I don't fish with long poles though. I have shorter poles because my first crappie experiences were shooting docks. Im going to have to learn how to tie that loop knot I see you have there 👍🏻

It's not hard wrap line around first 2 fingers and drop it thru 2 times grab loop and pull it tight!!
