    Default Jack Millers

Made a round on the jack millers side of grand river yesterday. Water still high but has a nice color! Most of these were caught in the old sun oil tank area; Tightlining with blue/white tube jigs!
    Good fishing to all!!!

Talked to several people who tried last weekend; they didn't catch much! I'm watching the river too, and it seems like they should b biting...if they start and I find out I'll let you know!

Nice catch. I have heard about the old sun tank area before but can not find it on any maps. Where is this area if you don't mind sharing.

Here is a map of that area that I like to fish. The old sun oil tank area is on the western most end of the red circle where u see that hard curve. Used to be an oil tank on piling, thus the name. Still have some piling there that you can see when the water is low enough! Hope this helps!

Thank you for taking the time to make a map and explaining it. I have been calling that area bull tail.

Bull tail is the first cut to the right heading west after you cross the inter coastal leaving the launch at Jack Millers.
