I have fished it with water levels from 6.5' to 18' and caught at all levels, but, when it gets high, the fish scatter into the woods and are hard to find.....when it is 6.5' the fish are more concentrated within the banks and easier to find....12' is a good level that allows the fish to spawn in the shallower water.....there are so many other factors that affect the catch such as rising or falling water, water clarity, barometer, lots of boats running all over, water temp., etc....sometimes all the planets line up and you just get lucky and catch a few....if you don't, you at least have enjoyed a beautiful lake.....Quote:
