Sorry to hijack the post. If you hang bird feeders on the 6+foot iron stakes with the arched hooks, you can attach at the top a cheap kids metal slinky on the vertical portion of the post. Gravity lets it hang down a bit. When the squirrel tries to climb the post, it grabs the slinky which gives and the squirrel ends up back on the ground. Hilarious and entertaining...the squirrel never gives up and keeps trying. Learned this from a you tube video. Wish I was smart enough to figure this one out. It's inexpensive and ingenious. It will probably work on any post a slinky will fit on.
