It had sea foam in it but it is a 25 and it would take all day to run out of fuel and I usually on run for a few minutes.

Funny thing shadow my boat started doing the same thing. Its still under.warranty but i hate to be without it. But. I think i will call today and see.if i.can get.it in the shop . My bulb is soft also

It could be some water in the fuel.

Yea pawpaw, I was thinking that could be the problem.
Will try it with some fresh fuel next time I go out.

Could easily be o ring in connection if your motor has it. Newer ones I noticed don't have disconnect. I always liked disconnect to run motor out of fuel.

My Tohatsu 25 FS has done that with the soft bulb, but it had a pinch in the hose from banging around on the highway. Make sure nothing is mashing or kinking the hose.

Yea I thought about that too but didn't see a pinch in the hose. I did add a water separator in the hose but it has been working fine with it up to Saturday.

Randy, with your EFI engine it should have electric fuel pump thus really no need to pump bulb. It should just pick it up and go. If it is leaking down some then it would be check valve in bulb but you should also have a check valve in the pump itself so pump dosnt run dry. Turn key on, count to 5 and crank.

Explains why I have to pump by bulb every time, mine doesn't have an electric fuel pump. Thanks. Sorry for hijacking your thread Randy.
