Awesome Pastor.... Now you should teach them how to powder coat those jig heads to save you some time on the vise... 😉 👍👍

SuperTeach, you are more than welcome. I have always figured that all of the fish are given to us by God and we are to share them. That is why I don't mind giving information, even details, as to where I catch fish, how I caught them, and what colors of jigs seem to work the best. I have noticed that many others on this site do the same thing. That is what crappie.com is all about in my humble opinion and what makes crappie.com the best fishing forum in the world.

MO Slab, I do have a Sam Heaton jig pole and I do love it. However, the jig pole in the picture is a double touch Duck Commander jig pole and it has become my favorite pole to fish with. It is light in weight (when matched with the proper reel), very sensitive, and yet strong enough with enough backbone to fight the biggest fish in some of the thickest cover. Now, after saying all of that, let me say that I do not get every fish that I hook with that pole into the boat. There are just too many "user errors" for it to overcome all of them. LOL.

I have a 10' Sam Heaton and a 10' Duck Commander and I use both of them. On one I'll put just a jig and the other I'll put a jig or minnow with a float. I can tight line with one, usually the Sam Heaton, and drift the other on the side of the boat while it's in a holder. Now sometime I'll two pole them with just jigs or minnows and no float. I was doing that a while back when fishing with PrefersShiner. I was using shiners on both poles. At one time I put a fresh shiner on the Sam Heaton and put it overboard. Meanwhile I turned around to grab another minnow out the bucket and when I turned around my Sam Heaton was gone. I look up and saw it about 15 feet away being towed down the channel. Another fishernam grabbed it as it went by but he lost my fish. I'm sure glad that it floated with the Walley Marshall Solo reel on it or I'd be short a very nice pole.
