Better be sure your winch strap is long enough or you have some heavy duty rope on hand. I also heard you can just go ahead and load the boat and tie the winch strap off to the motor or whatever, then crank the trailer up. I believe the rear of the boat can float more weight than the front due to area?
Either plan is worth a try instead of wrecking a trailer and I know someone who did that!
