Paw-Paw the Cajun Navy was all over Face Book. Some places they were turned away. Law Enforcement was afraid they would have to rescue rescuers was the excuse they gave. Law Enforcement should understand that most boaters willing to help were driving boats before they could walk and have gone catfishing in currents just as strong and know how to operate a boat better than 90% of what they call qualified. The ones turned away just went somewhere else helped where the were allowed. There was a group of 20 boats that kept getting turned away. I admire those guys they never gave up. They were on the phone calling local governments and finally were allowed to help. My hat is off to them. Personally I am waiting for the water to recede and go help where ever I can.
