have not been but last fall winter it did not get choclatey till feb/march...so it stays good for a while after the rain.....

I have not personally fished this recreational lake but my younger brother has done so often. He tells me that after a lot of rain the water is real muddy. Red in color.
However, he still catches fish. Mostly by a drain pipe that leads into or out of the lake. He has caught some real nice fish. The drain pipe is in the area behind the last building to the left while looking at the rest area.

About two years ago around March I was coming back from Toledo Bend. I had a bucket of shiners left over so I pulled into Dubuisson and went to the boat landing and gave the shiners to a guy that was launching his boat. Was that you?

No. Not me. I started fishing there august of 2015. Here is the water color from yesterday. thinking of you and your retirement often. Strange what He has planned for us. But He knows who can handle even the toughest of situations. You must be one of those enduring type of people who is strong and others look to you for guidance. I know I do.
