Thread: Caney Lake Chinquapins

My old room mate from college came up this week to fish with me. The perch have been slow (for me anyway) so we headed to Caney in search of chinks. Yesterday we caught 29 but really got into them today. Had 77 this morning. We are staying at state park and when we went to clean them the cleaning station was "sink service only please throw unwanted fish in trash can." The trash cans hadn't been cleaned out in several days YUCK. Hate to see our state parks running on fumes b/c folks in Baton Rouge cant manage money. Anyway we had a great time of fellowship and fishing.
