Thread: Cypress/Black Bayou? Depth?

FWIW, I have caught a few in water from 3-6 ft, all smaller fish, thinking they larger fish and/or larger % of fish have moved deeper, but not sure.

Seems the spawn ended weeks ago, anyone who has caught any recent, let me know the depth if you can. Thanks.

I fished BB a couple weeks ago and caught some small sacs at docks in 3 feet of water

I fished cypress Sunday caught over 40 crappie and kept 27 all good
Caught them 9 foot deep in 14 fow

Thanks guys, in the deeper water, are you using jigs or crank baits?

I pull 10 out back and push 4 in front

Ouch! LOL. I have BTDT drifting with 4 or 5 poles, and my buddy wanted to turn the boat....never ends well. Well I always felt more hooks in the water increases the odds..........cannot hurt. Well I may try some cranks, but I won't be running that many lines Thanks for sharing. Congrats on your success.
