We launch at the Gibbstown bridge and run down the intercostal, you can also cross the bridge and launch straight into the front marsh which is what I usually prefer to do.
I used to fish catfish in Sweet and Willow lakes, but that's all. Willow lake at times had the prettiest water I've ever seen in Louisiana. I could pass over the net and see if there were any fish in it. That launch is sure steep and the tugs suck on it hard when they come by. Probably too far for fun fishing.
