way out....I always wonder if the fish stick to their main spawning grounds or with a rise like that do they seek the new surroundings where there is USUALLY no water? Also..I'm guessing with water temps that high the spawn for some or most is about done. ANDDDDD...I'm not busy....can you tell?.....if they do spawn in the woods, this should be a good thing for the survival of the fry........

PMantle, yes it Is open and it's in good shape. little bit of salvinia at the launch the other day, but that will float around with the wind. If you can, go in the afternoon and stay until dark. The last hour is usually dynamite. A friend and I went the other day and caught 17, all in the last hour. He did really well with a curly tail grub. I had a beetle spin and did not nearly catch as many as he did. No cork. bream should also be biting. It's a wonderful lake with very little pressure.

I tried to go Saturday morning and there was a sign on the money box saying all lakes closed. I may try again this weekend.

I just called. It was closed this weekend due to heavy rains. Nothing wrong with the lake. They close it to protect the roads from getting too bad from traffic. It's open now.

That's what I figured. I would hate to see those roads get all messed up.
