It's looking like the fishing will be messed up for at least a couple weeks. Still early to tell, but if the water gets up to 42 or 43 feet or higher, it will take several weeks to drain off and get right again.

The black river @ Acme is the level you look at. Rivergages.com is where you can get that info. It was just updated and it looks like it is going to get to what it was in January. More flooding!

At what level does the Black River start to flood Larto/Saline?

At 37ft. It has already started backing in. Heard they will be closing all roads to saline by Tuesday. Water expected to be higher than it was in January.

Murdok, I can say at 48.2' on the Larto gage we had 9" of water inside our outdoor kitchen in Feb of this year. At 42' it is getting into the yard. Here is a link to the gage at Larto. Rivergages.com - Station Information ForLarto Lake @ Larto Lake

Prediction right now is the black will get to 50', which will put Larto at about 51'.
