clear water around bay Alcide. Canal across from the old compressor station is around 8-9 foot in the back and I could see 7 foot down. We found stumps, trees and bank drop offs with ease. Strange thing though we saw no minnows or fish whatsoever. Fished Tuesday till about 2 and had one sac au lait lost at the boat. Water was falling hard with the strong north west wind and it needs to because it's high in the swamp. One surprise was there was hardly any trash on the bottom in the clear canal, just a few aluminum beer cans. First scratch in quite a long time but still nice to be on the water.
