Well, I didn't catch any crappie today in the 20 minutes that I fished. But I did catch this 11.4 pound bass on a Bobby Garland Baby Shad, Electric Chicken.
Used a 10' B n' M Duck Commander jig pole with either 4 or 6 pound line (don't remember what is on that reel). Fought fish for about 15 minutes before I got it to the boat.
Didn't have any thing to measure the length but tackle box under the fish is 15" wide and fish hung over both sides. After photos I released it back to its home.

Good job....Wow, I excited just thinking about it. I was pulling crankbaits a few years ago and caught a 12 pound 10 oz. bass on a 14 ft. BnM PST useing 10 lb. mono. It was Mr. Crappie High vis yellow.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
