    Long time follower, have enjoyed the posts and reading. Just moved to West Monroe area and learning new places to fish. Have been fishing Darbonne Bayou this summer with some success. Just moved from Pastor's area about the time he moved and would have liked to visit with him and show him a few good spots.

    I'm new here to my wife is from Monroe, I occasionally spend weekends there and I'm wanting to start fishing bayou desire and the ochittA. I'm going to spend some time on desire over the holidays, I'm also a beginner perch jerker not near as experienced as these guys but I'll let u know what I do. Sorry for spelling with spell check.

    Welcome Greg, great to have you join us. As Andrews said, there are a bunch of knowledgeable people here and they don't mind sharing. Andrews is new here also but he's doing great for a beginner at catching. If you've been reading the forum you know we are gathering at D'Arbonne state park this weekend and I invite you to drive on over and visit. We will have a pot luck dinner on Friday and a fishfry on Saturday. No need to bring anything but welcome to do so if you want.

    Thanks everyone. I may try and ride over and visit friday night. theygotaeat pushed me over the edge to join with his posts on pulling crankbaits. Have tried a couple of times with limited success. Look forward to meeting everyone.
