i'll just stick to my nehi peach and hammer down.

i'm kinda glad we got 15 days. i got so much left to do. just bought my pork shoulder tonight for my butt bites. gotta whittle it off the bone and let it soak in some rib rub (wish i had some of green shiners stuff) and tie up some 4 jig rigs, and stirng some more rods, and get my boat ready. it rained all weekend last weekend so i got behind. LOL

    but i'm ready too!!

Tell me more about the 4 jig rig. I got to install my new pole holders and I ordered 4 14ft poles today.

its quite simple. and easy to tie up some in advance in case you break one off. here is how it goes. cut a leader about 6 foot long, give or take. tie a barrel swivel on one end. then, from the other end, thread on a jig head (i would recommend pink) and run it up towards the barrel swivel. about a foot under the barrel swivel, pinch the line and make a loop, with the jig head in the center of the loop and tie a double knot dropper loop around the jig head. then repeat two more times, with the jig heads being about 14-18" apart. then at the end of the line just tie on the last jig with whatever knot you like. did that make sense about the dropper loops?? i have several little spools that have divided sections and are made of rubber. they have a little prong that you can hook the barrel swivel into and then wrap the set up around the spool, and each time you get to a hook, you just stick the tip of the hook into the rubber. it is very handy and quick when you need to re-tie. the biggest advantage of the 4 jig rig is that you can fish 8 different body colors 9all on a pink jig head of course) and see what they are wanting to bite. then start switching more of them over to that body color.

    hope this helps.

Hey Doc, what do you mean by a "double knot dropper loop around the jig head?" And, why only 8 different color jigs. Is there a limit of poles you can use on D'Arbonne?
