I'm new to fishing Henderson (only ever been 5 times now). I tend to stay near the interstate fishing the pilings, but I haven't really seen much grass. Whenever I get a chance to try pulling cranks I'll be sure to let you know the results.

I am hesitant to crank in Henderson because of grass.....any advice on the grass issue is amuch appreciated......this grass is not hydrilla that grows from the bottom up as far as i know...and i know very little...this is grass, pads etc that are visible from the surface....I can combat underwater grass by keeping the bait near it or just above it......just not sure about the other grass and pulling cranks around it......

can't wait to paint some of mine.......exciting...
Those are the last red cranks I have. I don't think I have caught a crappie on red crank...tons of catfish ,no crappie![]()
i was gonna paint my black and white first....but may paint the reds first...now that you mention it...I love the reds but not many fish caught on them here either.
I don't know why they won't hit a red crank cause I've caught a lot of crappie on red/ chartreuse and red/white tube jigs
