    Default Salt water weekend

Had a couple of friends come down this weekend to catch some shrimp, crabs and fish. We did really good catching our limits of crabs and shrimp both Friday & Saturday and we caught 4 flounder on Saturday. I forgot to bring my camera on the water so I only have pictures from when we got back to the camp. And I forgot to take pictures of the flounder but I will say that DocWaldo, Big John and myself each caught one. Here are the pictures.
We had several ice chest full of crabs! Here are a couple of them.

Big John, Mark and my son with our 2 boat limit.

    Doc showing the size.

    Now the work begins!
I think we gave away 6 dozen crabs and still had enough to call several people for a crab boil Saturday night!

And finally a couple of sunsets, the first was on the drive home from my moms to get my dog and the second was a sunset over the camp for a close to a really great weekend! God is Great!

i just want to tell dwyane a huge thanks for taking me and john on a trip that we will always remember. the shrimping and crabbing was so much fun, but it was hard work. but the best part of the trip was making new friends and the fellowship with shadow. we brought home a bunch of shrimp, and a boat load of memories. dwyane, you are the best!! not many folks that i know would have treated us as kind as you did!!

How would you like to do all that work and catch 6 shrimp? That's what happened the last time I went shrimping. Oh, by the way that was 20 years ago!!

Man it looks like y'all had a great time. I hope Dwayne saves enough shrimp for me to eat at Toledo Bend in Feb.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Doc you said it right about Dwayne, "he's the best". I do have a few questions though, did you fish with 8 rods, how many jigs per pole to catch the shrimp, and last how did Randy sneak in there.

I glad y'all had a grand time as I know all about Dwayne's hospitality. None better, and he has a great family.

Good post. I must have lost my invite. Looks like fun. I think it might turn up on the front page. I might retitle it as Louisiana fun:Salt water weekend. "D"
