    I tied up my version of crappie candy to use as gnats while spider rigging

    Them are purty! I have not tried to tie anything like that yet. Bet they would work great during the spawn when the fish are shallow.

    Being lighter than a jig it's easier for the shiner to be more active and if shiner gets off its not just a bare hook hanging there

    Those sure are flashy and would fish real well on a fly line when the fish are spawning in shallow water. You could increase the weight of the eyes to get them into deeper water. Great job.

    You can't tell in pic but top row has purple bodies mid row has grey and bottom are black.
