Welcome to the forum, Cole. I pastor Welcome Home Baptist Church over on HWY 34 a few miles north of Joyce. I live right behind the church so if you are ever over this way stop by and say hello. Since you live in Grayson you should also consider Caney Lake. I know HWY 126 is rough and curvy, but it's only about 26 miles to HWY 34 and then about 14 miles up HWY 34 to Caney Lake. All of those places Maxwell 328 mentioned are good places too. Good luck and if I can help just let me know. The crappie are kind of scattered around on the brush-tops in Caney right now and I don't have a clue where any of them are just yet (but wait until I get my Helix 7's). I am, however, catching a few off of some of the piers and boat houses in the deeper water. But, come winter and you will find the crappie out in the 30-50 foot water and when you launch just go to where the other boat are.
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.

Cole to CDC.. Glad to have you on board. I don't know much about the fishing in the northern part of the state... yet, but I will eventually.
