Prayers sent. I also was diagnosed with colon cancer in January 2015 and had surgery in Feb. They took out about 12 inches of my colon and now I got a 12 in scar. Thankfully it had not progressed to my lymphnodes so it was stage 2. I am slowly getting back to half a--ed. Tell him to take it easy and follow Dr's orders and everything should be okay. Missed the whole crappie season but thankfully the outlook is good for a long life. Don Jackson
Sending prayes up Danny. I remember we talked about this at Reelfoot. Concentrate on the positive - they caught it early. That deserves an amen just by itself. From my own experience, this waiting part of the process is the hardest part. Y'all hang in there and we'll keep praying.

Prayers offered, it runs in my family also and I get a screening every 5 years. The screening is painless and can detect the only cancer that is 100% curable if caught early.
My father had it and was removed from him 12 years ago and he is still going strong at 84 now.
