    Default World Record Cat

well, for me it is. I've caught a couple of 25#'s in the blind river area. I kept and weighed those, this one was bigger. Threw this one back to be caught again.

Caught this one in the Lac Des Allmends. 8# gold stren line on a Salter/Slater jig pole. Got lucky, it swam to the middle of the canal and I followed with the foot motor. Finally got it to the top to put em in the net.

yes PS he hit that tube.

I saw some fish folks dipping grass shrimp. That's when I went to the blue and white tube. Used it today (B&W tube) and put 3 dozen in the box.

I just read this and am trying to figure out the correlation between the grass shrimp and blue and white tube. So from what I understand you saw someone using grass shrimp so you switched to a blue and white tube??? Why ??? Just curious to learn something new maybe.... Thanks for sharing

What reel do you have on that pole. I wonder how many with much stouter equipment would have snapped their line trying to hurry and get it in the boat. Landing that fish on such tackle is testament to a great fisherman. Congrats.

the cheap plastic reel that comes with his pole. The bottom section was JB's but I've got a top section from one of my Slater poles. Being on a fixed income I gotta patch and piece my tackle together.
