Thread: Mississippi River Lakes

For what ever reason, fishing Mississippi River Lakes has been extremely slow for last two years. But I believe now good fishing is returning.
Caught 60 bream Saturday morning at Yucatan fishing natural floating trash near the bank. Could pick up one or two if I could find clear spot to drop crickets. Water was 34.0 feet at Vicksburg and rising. It will be over the road to the Yucatan landing later this week.
But I will be back. Hope the crappie cooperate next time.
