    Default man............

boy--life is busy!! just dropping in to say hello. and I miss yall. I have been very busy with life. I wouldn't have it any other way. I coached body's soccer team, my oldest daughter graduated from high school, both my daughters made it deep into the state high school soccer playoffs, and Maggie's travel soccer team just won their second straight state championship title. everyone is done with school for the summer, and we are trying to get things ready for body's bday party this Saturday. then a trip to the beach in june. it's just keeps coming, and coming, and coming. LOL

I am embarrassed to admit, but I have only been fishing three times since 01 January. my ole boat is mad at me. LOL but things tend to slow down in the summer when everyone is just being lazy without being in school. I am very much looking forward to darbonne this fall. I keep tellingmyself this is only a stage in life and I will get to fish again. hopefully very soon. I check in every other day or so, and I am very jealous of those of yall that have been wearing out the crappie. we have had SO MUCH RAIN the last few months I feel that at times I could fish in my front yard.

hope all is well and I haven't forgot about yall or CDC. still my family and I miss yall.

God bless yall and I will see yall soon,

    doc

I know exactly how you feel Mark! I've squeezed in a few bream trips, but between kid's activities, horrible weather, sick mother in law, yard sale....Keep on with what's most important....I don't think anyone here has hurt feelings that you're focused on family. Good to hear from you.

Hey bud, good to hear that all's well and you're going wide open. Each of us have had periods in life where we just had to hold on for the ride. I know I had my ride. Tell the family hello for us and we also are looking forward to the fall get together.

Nice to hear from you Mark. Correct, family first. They'll be gone before you know it. You're priorities are in the right place.

Called and left you a message yesterday Mark. Give me a call when you get a chance. I know what you mean about being busy, just came back from bringing my daughter and one of her friends to San Antonio & New Braunfells for her senior trip and have to bring her to Baton Rouge this weekend for a pagenant. Tell Maggie congratulations on their win! That's awsome!

I feel your pain Doc, 14/14 for 30 yrs then 7/7 for a few months, recently 4/3 and now 5/2. I hate it but I am the last Engineer out of 4 left on the job so at least I'm working and I'm home every night! I've pretty much turned into a lurker on here! Maybe I'll see you out there soon.

There are two things to aim for in life: First, to get what you want; and after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieves the second. Author unknown, but I like it!
