If your really good at finding the big ones, Toledo Bend has huge ones. Example: I ran into some a long time ago now, but we were worm fishing and something kept taking the tails off and we were not doing well on bass. So we went back to Fin & Feather to get some crickets and went back. Now these were in 11' of water and we ended up with 42 of them. The smallest one was 3/4 pounds and biggest was 1 3/4 pounds! I keep forgetting to look for the beds in deep water, but know where a couple are in deep water. You can get good ones on the bank, but not the huge ones!

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

The Eagle lake I referred to is in Mississippi just North of Vicksburg, Miss.....it is an old Mississippi river cut-off.....I fished it many years ago and yes, it had monster bream....

Miller's Lake. Last year I caught some huge bream out of there. Dapet fishes there alot. He usually knows when it's good there.

Beat me to it jig rig. If you can find them you'll be in for a treat. When the water is all the way down hit the shady sides of rafts in 20 ft of water. We've done this countless times. One pulling in sacs and one pulling in bull bream trying to see which is biting better. Hoping to take my 3 yo this weekend for the first time but not sure if the water will be right.
