Any info on the lake would be greatly appreciated. Never been there before. Areas to fish would be helpful. Thx in advance.

Lots of boat ramps. Several deep channels that run throughout the lake. Stump field flats off those channels. If you're coming for the CM tournament, with the weather that we are currently having and looking at the ten day forecast it could be a late spawn and the tournament should still have some healthy males and females. Those flats , 6-10 fow in some cases, will be critical. There are some shallow banks that will be holding fish also. The state park has a couple nice ramps and Jakes right off hwy 33 is a good ramp, north and south ends of the damn have ramps along with bear Terral island and the hwy 2 bridge ramp at corney creek. There's also a ramp at Stowe creek which is off hwy 15. It's a lot of water to cover and it is kind of like Grenada. I hope this helps and this is my opinion. I'm no expert by any means. Good luck.

When are you planning on being there? Haven't been in a while. Fishing has been a little off so far this year compared to previous years, although a few have managed some good ones at times. Hopefully after all this weather clears it will get a lot better.

I am new to the site and just started fishing for Crappie this year. I will be at DArbonne state park tomorrow for the first time. Any more suggestions for this area a new guy could use? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to C.C Ranger Doug! You'll like the state park on Darbonne, it's great. I can't offer any advice on the fishing there. Others are better informed on that aspect.
