Thread: Henderson-Just Had To Scratch That Itch.......

Weatherman last nite said rain at 10 AM Monday....so I slept late till 8 and checked it again when I got up.....now rain coming at 3 PM.....skip grits....hurry.....hurry.....make thermos of coffee....stop at donut shop for a big apple fritter....stopped for shiners....finally got to lake at 10:30.....water was pretty every where.....water temp was 57...nice shirtsleeve weather, foggy and pleasant....wind not a factor.....lots of birds showing up....Didi will like that.....started with tight lining blue & white triple tail jig on 10 ft pole......picked up a nice one.....switched to shiners.....picked up 5 more....fishing 18" deep in 3 fow.....big fish went 13".....great day to be out.....bad weather coming, just had to get one more trip in....can't wait to go back...
