    Default Lacassine 2/18/15

I decided to make a quick afternoon trip. Fishing was slow. I did manage 2 keepers and I missed quite a few. Water has dropped another 6 inches since Sunday. Spots I use to fish each year during the spawn is too shallow to fish or dry land now. I should of brought my 22 I saw quite a few squirrels today. Name: 20150218_104707_resized.jpg

Would love to. I am getting to know the local hard core fishermen on the Bayou. We all use Courney poles and jigs. We laugh once we notice the jigging poles in each others boats. We start talking about Mr JD and then share info on where and how we are catching. Right now I am in with about 8 guys that regularly fish the bayou, the ditch, and the rivers in Calcasieu and Jeff Davis.

Saute86, I use BnM poles and I usually use Mid South tube jigs or Bobby Garland jigs. I will PM you my # and maybe we can get together one day. Work has been crazy lately but hopefully that will slow down soon.
    Thanks
