Thread: Plan B

Usually i'm trolling at Larto this time of year. I decided to try something different. I decided to try a Lake not in the Basin but near Lafayette….where to go???? Anyhow, after several low/no result trips, i stumbled on a few fish. I caught mainly black males, only two fish had eggs, one being a huge white that went over 15 inches. The smallest sacalait I caught was 11 inches long. Black and chart. hair jigs seem to be the most popular color out there, I've done well on solid brown with a gray wing. It's good to get out again, it feels like it's been a really long winter…Here are pictures from two trips, Tues. and Thurs. of this week. Go fish, you don't have to go far….BC
